8.19.2007:
Both wedding ceremonies and receptions went very well. Like all weddings, we had some behind-the-scenes drama, as well
as many unexpected moments that we will cherish forever.
If you couldn't make it, we know that you were there with us in spirit. Also, you
missed two fantastic parties. For those of you who didn't receive your invitations, we are truly sorry. The US Postal Service did not deliver all of them.
We imagine there is a box full of them on a shelf somewhere in a distro center.
Finally, thanks to everyone who came from all over the world, those who helped make it a success, those who witnessed some serious Hindu wedding craziness, and of course everyone who enjoyed all the food, drinks, cake, dancing, toasts, roasts, and my crazy retrospective of wedding scenes from famous Hollywood and Bollywood films. Laura looked beautiful in both a pink sari and a super-fancy wedding dress (complete with tiara, a broach, and rings).
